Steven Seagal's Lightning Bolt
Steven Seagal's Lightning Bolt is a brand of energy drink that is produced by Steven Seagal Enterprises. The soft drink was introduced in July 2005 by independent distributors. It is promoted by action movie star Steven Seagal. The beverage is billed as the "first energy drink to be made of 100% juice." It is available in over 60 countries, including Wales and Zambia. Each can bears a picture of Steven Seagal and a quote reading "A Natural Energy Drink Packed With Vitamins and Exotic Botanicals". The side of the can lists ingredients of the "Herbal tonic blend": "This Long Lasting Energy Elixir is Made With Ingredients From All Over the Globe. Tibetan Goji berry, Asian Cordyceps, B vitamins, Ginseng, Guarana. Sweetened With All Natural Polisweet an Imported Sugarcane Juice Concentrate Containing Policosanols (sic)" Due to the unpleasant odor and taste it emits, Steven Seagal's Lightning Bolt has been the subject on ridicule on the internet - particularly on YouTube, where users broadcast their experiences on tasting it.
