Mark L. Lester (b. November 26, 1946) has worked as a writer, producer, and director on many high-profile action films over his long career. His first film was Twilight of the Mayas. Lester then worked on many films, such as Stunts, Steel Arena, and Bobby Jo and the Outlaw. He also founded American World Pictures, and independent production and distribution company. In recent years he has made many films, ranging from action films like The Base to thrillers like Blowback and Hitman's Run.
