Zac Rothman directs, films, and edits, melanie kuxdorf, lori macdonald perform their choreography incorporating elements of modern and contact dance, site-specific on Vancouver 's South East False Creek, an area with a complicated history. Once a salt marsh, a fishing ground, then a place with buildings on stilts, then a filled-in industrial hub, where women built munitions during the war, then the site of Expo '86. Vancouver's South East False Creek is the future home of the 2010 Olympic Village and a planned sustainable community. In the film, Kuxdorf and MacDonald are performing an act of remembering: an embodied archive of a place that has changed many times and is once again being transformed.
