For those of you who know nothing about about the images on this video or more specifically Yanni, the 81 year old Greek restaurant/ bar baron, here is a through recap. The town of Agios Gordios, on the Island of Corfu, Greece is home to the Pink Palace hostel. The word "Pink" in this case is an understatement. Everything is at least one shade of pink including the Ouzo they force you to drink upon check-in. (at 9:00 a.m.) In the daytime hours this hostel facilitates the rental of four-wheeled ATV vehicles. A self-guided 4-Wheeler Safari eventually brought the five young men in this video to one of the most memorable experiences of there lives. After a 5 hour exploration of the majority of the south-west coast of Corfu, the safari crew was road weary and in need of a beer drinking, sandwich eating experience. They decided to stop at a decrepit white building with the word "Cafe" sloppily hand-painted on the outer wall. The second that the crew dismounted their quads, a small bodied Greek senior citizen staggered out from the bar and into the street. He began yelling at us in drunken, incoherent Greek to come into his bar. The building itself is very unassuming and awkwardly placed on the road at an unnecessarily sharp turn. Once inside the crew found themselves in the shattered remnants of a once hygienically acceptable Restaurant/bar. The inside of the building appeared as if a Giant had picked up the establishment and given it a strong shake. There was a large table in the rear seating area of the bar, completely covered in used mens shoes. There were piles of garbage stacked waste high in the soggy corners of the kitchen. There were rows of half empty booze bottles lining the bar, mostly homemade, mostly Ouzo. There was an 81 year old, toothless man. And it was fucking priceless. P.S. If you think it was disrespectful to steal from this man keep in mind, he had pulled his genitals out twice before the cameras rolled and at least twice after words. Along with a disturbingly large and unkempt collection of individual pages of American smut porn. Yanni is a sweetheart and we did end up giving him like 25 euro but he was still a perverted old sketch-ball. We later learned from the staff of the Pink Palace that Yanni had killed a man with a knife years before, but the court systems found him innocent on account of insanity.
