Joe was waiting for Natalie by the aquarium at the pier. Every minute that passed by only made the butterflies in his stomach flutter more. Then he saw someone who looked like Natalie coming towards him. As she got closer he noticed it was her. He couldnt help but stare at her. Her long wavy chocolate brown hair flew in the breeze. She was wearing a pair of deep purple shorts and a sea green shirt. When she saw Joe she took off her sunglasses and ran over and gave him a hug. NAT: hey you! Its so good to see you! JOE: [not wanting to let go of the hug] yeah you look great! NAT: you too. [she stepped back to get a good look] wow this is crazy I never thought I would see you again. JOE: yeah I wanted to call but I thought it would be weird. NAT: after I got home I realized it was rude what I said. JOE: its ok. Come on I love this place! He took her over to the Ferris wheel and they got in. Natalie looked a little scared. She sat still not moving a muscle. JOE: scared of heights? NAT: just a bit. [she took a quick look over while it began to go up] oh man. JOE: its ok. Nothing is going to happen. NAT: what if we get stuck up here? What are we going to do! [she began to breath heavy] JOE: hey relax. [he took her hand] its all gravy. NAT: ok. Ok. Im fine. So how was tour? JOE: it was great! We had tons of fun and we got to see and meet all these cool people and places. NAT: sounds amazing! JOE: What have you been up to? NAT: well just getting ready to go to college. Im still waiting on my acceptance letter. Im super nervous! JOE: Im sure you?ll get in. where did you apply? NAT: well I applied at the UC next to my house and then my main school is LONG BEACH [such a pretty campus!!!] I really want to go there. JOE: see you survived. NAT: what? JOE: the ride is done. NAT: oh. Yeah. I guess I didnt noticed we were millions of feet in the air when I was talking to you. JOE: how about we go grab a churro or something. NAT: id love too but I cant JOE: what? Why not? NAT: Im allergic to cinnamon JOE: wow. thats pretty lame [laughing] NAT: hey! Thanks for rubbing it in my face. How about you get me frozen yogurt and we'll call it even? JOE: fine. He went and got her frozen yogurt and he grabbed a churro. They were slowly walking down the pier as they carried on their conversation. Suddenly a crowd of girls came running up to Joe asking for autographs and pictures. He was nice enough to get all of them and then looked for Natalie. She was leaning against the fence eating her yogurt. JOE: sorry about that NAT: its ok. It comes with the package. JOE: how about we go sit on the stairs and finish our food. Well whats let of my churro. I think some girl took a bite off of it. NAT: [laughed] ok sounds good. They are sitting on the stairs looking out to the ocean and the sun setting down. The sky was full of pinks, purples and oranges and the sun looked like it was going into the ocean NAT: wow this is beautiful. JOE: yeah [he wanted to say she was more beautiful] NAT: it seems like somethings on your mind. JOE: its just stress from the tour and stuff. NAT: everything ok JOE: yeah...no. do you think Im weird? [she didnt answer] oh great you think im a freak huh NAT: [laughing] no I was just kidding. No I dont think youre weird. I think youre a sweetheart. Why do you ask? JOE: cuz when I was signing stuff for those girls they were like JOE BE GOOFY. JOE ACT ALL SPAZZY. JOE YOURE SUCH A GOOFBALL. Like yeah I like to make people laugh but lately people only see me for being a spaz. I feel like people cant take me seriously. NAT: well you've been pretty serious for me. Actually I would LOVE to see your spazy side JOE: well youre just going to have to wait. NAT: fine...Joe. JOE: yeah NAT: youre not a spaz. And you do have a serious side. You just have to show them the side you showed me. [she gave him a hug] JOE: [got shivers up his spine.] thanks. How about dinner tonight? NAT: wow frozen yogurt AND dinner in one day from JOE JONAS!
