Ok so Im going to set up this story a little different. The whole night Joe couldnt keep his eyes off of her. She told him about how she is working two jobs to afford to go to college. How she was majoring in psychology and eventually wanted to work with children with autism. Her goals amazed him. He loved how she was so passionate about her chosen career. Natalie noticed she was talking too much. NAT: sorry. Im talking too much huh. JOE: No. its ok. I like hearing what you have to say. And I must say Im pretty impressed. NAT: well what about you? JOE: what about me? NAT: I think Im the only girl in the US that doesnt know you. JOE: well thats good. That way you can know me for me. NAT: the stage is all yours. JOE: well my name is Joe. Im in the Jonas brothers. We travel all over the place. I have the best job ever. NAT: ok stop. I want to know YOU. Not your pop star side. JOE: you know for some reason Im letting you get away with calling me a pop star all the time. NAT: its my charm *laughing* JOE: I have that too. But its too overwhelming for you right now. NAT: RIIIIIGHT! Now tell me did you always want to sing? When did you start? What about college? JOE: I feel like Im at an interview right now. NAT: no just a curious girl. JOE: well no actually I wanted to be a comedian. Can you tell? NAT: [gasps] no freakin way! Wow. You surprise me *sarcastically* JOE: HA. Anyways yeah and I found music and fell in love. I guess you can blame nick for putting us together. Or you can thank him. I do either one depending on how I feel that day. NAT: cool beans. [looked down at her cell] oh man! Im supposed to be home at 12! JOE: well how are you going to get home? You have a car? NAT: yeah but me and Alex carpool and today he drove. [just then she remembered what Alex had told her] dangit! JOE: well I can take you home. Let me just ask Kevin for the car. [big rob let out a little laugh and Joe quickly looked over at him and glared.] NAT: that laugh made me nervous. JOE: he just has allergies [looked over at big rob] huh rob [big rob just nodded] NAT: I dont want to bug you. JOE: its fine come on. The two went back to the room. Lexi waited in the living room area. Everyone was asleep and Joe went over to Kevin and tried to wake him up. JOE: kev. Wake up. KEVIN: what? *sleepy* JOE: let me borrow your car. KEVIN: are you crazy! No way. JOE: come on! Natalie needs a ride home. KEVIN: ugh! [hands Joe the keys] if I see I scratch your dead! JOE: love ya brotha! Joe went and got Natalie. She nervously sat in the seat. JOE: do you have your seatbelt on? NAT: oh man. JOE: oh come on Im not that bad. [he accelerated and the car went backwards instead of forwards. He quickly pushed the break and smiled to Natalie] NAT: oh man. They arrived at Natalies house and Joe parked in front. There was a weird silence for a while. Joe was in his head thinking should I kiss her? NAT: well thanks for dinner. It was nice. JOE: yeah well thanks for agreeing to come. NAT: I guess we wont be seeing each other. You with your tour and stuff. JOE: well is it ok if I call you? Just to see how everything is going? NAT: wont your girlfriend get mad? JOE: [confused] girlfriend? I dont have a girlfriend. NAT: thats not what I heard. JOE: are you kidding. Do you know how many "girlfriends" Ive had over he past month. its the media trying to get to us. NAT: you promise? JOE: if I had a girlfriend I wouldnt do this. [he leaned over to give her a kiss but Natalie panicked and he got her cheek. NAT: goodnight Joe. Have a great tour. [she got off of the car and Joe waited until she got inside] JOE: stupid!!![ He hit his head on the steering wheel and drove off back to the hotel]
