Sept. 6 - Britain issues dozens of flood warnings as torrential rain brings havoc to much of England and Wales. The government's Environment Agency has put out 40 flood warnings on rivers in England and Wales. Britain has been dogged by almost continual wet weather in August - usually one of the warmest and driest months of the year.
