Placed in a distant utopic future time, "The Grid" is a city of extreme monotony. The inhabitants, hybrids of man and television, are absolutely identical to each other. They are obliged to work like slaves under the command an abstract central brain. Their only social relation is their contact with the screen that keeps them company in their capsules, aiming to tell them how to think and act. The film explores the behavior of such a society and mainly, the interaction between power and difference. What if an individual doesn't want to hear what society tells him/her anymore?
