I haven't vlogged in a while because i've been in sunny Spain, but i'm back now! Last night Labour came second to the Scottish National Party in the by election for Glasgow East. Glasgow East was considered one of Labour's most secure seats, but something they have done has turned things around. The SNP won by 365 votes. not a lot. And now, the people of the Labour are divided. Some want to stand by Gordon; "When the ship is in trouble, do you fire the captain? No! You get him to sort it out!" and some want a Leadership election. The Conservative Party have the view that Gordon needs to stop being such a work-a-holic and take a holiday in the sun. David Cameron has said "Prime Minister, take your holiday and then call a general election" In my opinion, the Labour Party are focusing too much on finding someone to blame, and not enough on improving their strategy and the way they rule the country. And besides, who is going to want to take a footbullet and end their career by being PM for a short time and then losing to the Tories? Because likelihood is, the British people won't stand for two Premiers in a row with no chance to vote for either. So, what will happen? Gordon Brown insists that he will continue his duties, but what if the Labour Party feel differently? Is my old school chum Jack Straw going to be our Prime Minister and face David Cameron in a general election? Is David Miliband going to try and win the hearts of the British people, inevitably failing miserably? let's see what happens. i want your views. and here's a Labour blog site that's quite interesting: http://www.labourhome.org/
