Car scenes from "Mayor of Hell" (released June 24, 1933). Here's YET another movie featuring the stylish Auburn-12 convertible coupe. We've seen John Miljan drive this car in "The Rich Are Always With Us" (released May 21, 1932) and "Girl Missing" (released March 4, 1933) with Ben Lyon. It appears that the dual side-mounted spare wheels were removed, and a single rear-mounted spare was mounted on the rear. Contract player Mary Doran posed with this car on the back lot, apparently to publicize the car, which may have been a gift to the Studio from the Auburn-Cord Agency.
