Agent 326 (Willy Fritsch) falls into the trap set by The Great Haghi (Rudolph Klein-Rogge) on board the express train. Sonya (Gerda Maurus), from another train, is disturbed when she recognizes the number of the express, but cannot remember what it signifies. A great, suspenseful scene, with eerie train/tunnel shots (at a time when nighttime photography was not yet possible), and a fantastic new score by Donald Sosin.
