Hello, Thank you for interesting my video. This is the simple liquefaction demonstration equipment. I make a liquefaction shaking table. The motor used is 1800 rpm. The sand box size is 25*30*25 (w*l*h)cm. I use fine sand, particle size is around 0.1-0.5 mm. The sand is saturated.The water level is at the top of the sand. Liquefaction only occurs in loose sand so I loose it before shaking. When I start to shake it, the building model will sink into the sand. The differnt type of foundation is no differrent in the result. I use shallow foundation and pile foundation, both sink into the sand.
