Maple Ridge Wind Farm , which officially opened last year, is the biggest wind energy project in the eastern United States. ScienCentral News producer Joyce Gramza braved the snow last winter to see a man about a puppy and was amazed to pass so many wind turbines. She decided to return for a tour when the weather got nicer, and this video brings the tour to you. The day she visited, the site was hosting a local Envirothon , so she got to talk to some local folks about the project, including one who was there to see a man about a job , and a long-time resident who now has a view of 21 towers out his living room window.
