Feb 26 - Germany can continue calling its hard cheese "Parmesan", even though it isn't made in Italy's Parma region. Italy had taken Germany to court to get it to remove the "Parmesan" label from non-Italian cheeses, but the European Court of Justice (ECJ) ruled in Germany's favour. Italian cheese makers had said they were fighting to protect their product from what they call lower-quality copies. Joanna Partridge reports.
