Sky rocket hit by ronaldo on his right foot with the improved dribbling in pes 2009 you can now change feet and hit the ball with the outside or inside of the boot....People who have reviewed this game have stated striking is innacurate its not its just now you have to set your feet right and apply timing you can still score wonder goals from range but its all about skill and your feet not contrived.Notice also how although i have opted to strike the ball i have three other players running into the box this is the marvel of pes 2009 you always have options and supporting players.Imagine over pes 2008 the player ai has been ramped up 100% touch players have more control and strikers have less strait line speed but are more skillfull and its easier to turn defenders.You must have thought it playing pes 2008 why cant they make defenders and midfielders more skillfull and less clumsy well now they have...The biggest mistake konami made for a long time is they put to much focus on tricks that you innitiate yourself rather then focusing on making the long pass manual and making off the ball movements by your teamates better,this has all been adressed in this game and you will notice it strait away.Your not fighting the game and everything works the only limit being your imagination.........theres nothing like hitting a long ball down the sidelines with backspin and your forward running onto it the game is just like real football now but fun to play and i have not enjoyed my football this much since perfect striker 1999 on the n64 or ISS 2000 AS IT WAS CALLED IN THE WEST.One thing i must mention is the momentum shift or vodoo as seabass calls it the cpu is fantastic in this game and if you have a particular pattern to your play or are successfull the cpu will read this and counter it.The cpu is rockhard on top player and feels very human scoring magnificent goals and at times still matches my own performance,the better you play the better the cpu is the more magic you produce the better your teamates respond just like real life.....sometimes you just have to weather the storm get the ball down and keep it and move it about the biggest mistake i see a lot of pes players make is they just contnually run at defences you must move the ball about stretch the opposition and create angles and space for players to run into.
