After we had our first Great Pyrenees rescue Bear for a while, we knew we loved the breed. Sara saw a Great Pyrenees up for adoption on Pet Finder, but she was already adopted when we went to see her. Sara noticed a few days later that Baby was back up for adoption, so we went to see her. We didn't really know what her history was besides that she wasn't friendly towards other people, but we adopted her anyways since she seemed perfectly well-behaved. Years later, we ran into a lady at Petsmart that saw Baby and said that she had a Great Pyrenees rescue for a short time, but that she wasn't barked too much and didn't like other people or dogs. We told her that we rescued our dog from P.A.W.S. She looked stunned and said "Is that Baby?" :) I'm glad she ran into us since she was able to give us more information on Baby. Turns out that before she had adopted Baby, Baby lived in a car with two homeless people and two pit bulls! Baby was an amazing dog. We miss her terribly.
