It is evident that President Obama is not going to do what is right. So I will take a page out of his book, from when he is at his best - apologizing for other people. Sgt. Crowley, I am sorry, on behalf of President Obama. He spoke stupidly, reacted stupidly - handled the situation stupidly. I apologize to you, Sgt. Crowley, on behalf of President Obama. *Also: I apologize, on behalf of Maureen Dowd, to any men who read her take on the situation, when she attributed the problem to "race, class, and testosterone". She did not mean that. She was on her period; and period-juice sometimes makes you say stupid things... for example, that "testosterone sometimes makes you say stupid things". That was "reverse-sexist", Maureen. I apologize to Sgt. Crowley, for President Obama's stupid calibration of words; and I apologize to men, for Maureen Dowd's period-induced reverse-sexism.
