This is the so-called Lion vs Tiger fight that occur in Gir Forest, however according to some Lion experts, they think that the Lion isn't of the asiatic subspecies(There is no belly fold), instead it seems like a Transvaal Lion(South African Lion, Panthera leo krugeri). This complete version shows that whole fight, and a very weird thing is that the Tiger fell down when the lion barely touches it, and when Lion came nearer, the supposedly dead tiger got up and attacked the Lion and chased him away. There are rumours that the Tiger was a old tiger that was bought from a circus to be pitted into a fight with the lion because only Circus tigers know how to play dead. The tiger played dead and attack the Lion in surprise, a wild tiger have never been known to do such a thing. Moreover tigers have never been know to live in the Gir Forest, thus how would a fight occur? And how would a Transvaal Lion be in the gir Forest? Is this gir forest at all? And there are also many camera angles which suggest that many video cameras have been placed there to purposely film this fight instead of bumping into a fight like they say on the 16mm film. Did the tiger really die? Or is he playing dead using such tactic it learnt in the circus and applying it in a fight? Did the Lion really beat the tiger or did the Lion flee(as you can see at the end of the video video)? It has also been said that the tiger has been shot or shot by tranquilizing dart thus it suddenly fall to the ground, but since the tranqualizer haven't taken its effect, it can still fight back until the end which the effect of the tranqualizer take its place and the tiger is captured.
