Lauren Katherine Conrad (born February 1, 1986) often referred to as "L.C.", is an American television personality, actress, celebutante, and an aspiring fashion designer. She is best known for being featured in the MTV reality series Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County and for her spin-off show, The Hills, which follows her personal and professional life as she pursues a career in the fashion industry. Lauren Conrad was born in Laguna Beach, California the eldest of three children. Her younger siblings are Breanna and Brandon. Her parents, Katherine and Jim Conrad, have sold their house in Laguna, which Jim, an architect, originally designed. Their move was highlighted during an episode of the fourth season of The Hills where Lauren, assisted by Lo, returns home to pack up her belongings. She attended Laguna Beach High School, then moved briefly to San Francisco before settling in Los Angeles.
