Jun 24 - West Sumatran authorities set up a conservation site on a tiny island to save marine turtles from extinction. Authorities in Indonesia's West Sumatra Province have set up a conservation centre on the island of Kerabak Ketek. They fear the endangered marine turtle has been pushed close to extinction by poachers who dig their eggs out of sandy nests to sell them by the roadside. Jean Di Marino reports.
