May 2 - Climbers at Mount Everest's base camp wait for weather to clear before taking a separate Olympic torch to the summit. The climbers are waiting at a camp located around 6,500 metres above sea level. Everest's peak is at 8,848 metres. They are hoping for a window of three or four days of good weather so that they can continue their climb to the top of the world's highest mountain. Michelle Carlile-Alkhouri reports.
