Now, Harry and Cedric start dating during Harry's fourth year at Hogwarts, however boys don't really take their relationship too seriously. That is until one night, when Harry gets attacked by the Dementors. Cedric finds him unconscious and realizes how much he really loves Harry. He rushes to find Snape and asks him for help. Snape gives Cedric a special "lifesaver" potion, but warns him that the potion not only reanimates but also makes it possible for two wizards to create and give a new life. The night of the third task, in the maze, Cedric knows he must die and tells Harry about the potion and thus, the consequences. Harry is amazed and happy to know that he and Cedric will soon have a child. Unfortunately, the triwizard cup is a portkey, and Cedric gets killed by Voldemort and his minion. Harry is devastated and keeps thinking of Cedric and what's to become of him, now that he's left all alone. He finally confides in his best friend, Hermione, tells her about the potion but he's too ashamed to tell her the whole truth (about the baby). Being the most intelligent witch of her age at Hogwarts, Hermione figures out Harry's secret on her own, with the help of the books, of course. In the meantime, Harry gets attacked by the Dementors once again, and almost dies. This time, Hermione finds him and rescues him with the help of the time-turner. Well, the rest is pretty much self-explanatory. Harry finds consolation and a new reason to live. He knows he will meet Cedric again, but not yet, not yet... PS.
