A new CG animated feature from the makers of of the " Ice Age " films, and based on the beloved book by Theodore Seuss Geisel, who wrote under the pen name of Dr. Seuss. Published in 1954, " Horton Hears a Who " continues to be one of the most popular children‘s stories. Horton hears voices, but he‘s not crazy; he‘s an elephant! Seth Rogan , Jim Carrey , Steve Carell , Isla Fisher and Jaime Pressly get animated for this colourful adventure, which reminds us that a person‘s a person … no matter how small. One day, Horton the elephant hears a cry from help coming from a speck of dust. Even though he can‘t see anyone on the speck, he decides to help it. As it turns out, the speck of dust is home to the Whos, who live in their city of Whoville. Horton agrees to help protect the Whos and their home, but this gives him nothing but torment from his neighbors, who refuse to believe that anything could survive on the speck. Not everyone in Horton‘s world has the speck‘s best interests at heart and one nasty kangaroo ( Carol Burnett ) sets her sights on destroying the speck with the help of a menacing accomplice.
