Jun24 - An elderly British tourist has died and dozens more are in hospital with suspected food poisoning in a resort on Italy's Lake Garda. Ambulances ferried 27 people from a hotel in the town of Gardone Riviera, in northern Italy, to hospitals in the area with symptoms including fever, vomiting and diarrhoea. Local news agencies said most of the tourists taken ill were British including a 71-year old man who died. Sonia Legg reports.
