Buddy Holly wrote THAT`S WHAT THEY SAY in late 1958 and recorded it as a demo (only him and his guitar) at his apartment in New York City, December 3, 1958. It was overddubed first in January 1960, after Buddy´s death and then released on single and LP. Three years later, in 1963, it was overdubbed again, by Norman Petty. Here we have all three versions.
