Who's That Girl is the name of a film released on August 7, 1987 by Warner Bros. starring Madonna and Griffin Dunne. The film was written by Ken Finkleman and directed by James Foley.
Although popular among teenage audiences, the film did poorly both critically and financially. Its soundtrack, Who's That Girl, was much more successful, spawning a number-one and two hits in the title song "Who's That Girl" and "Causing a Commotion" respectively. A third track, "The Look of Love" was a top 10 UK hit. The film was released on video cassette on November 11 1987 and later DVD on February 14 2006. Madonna's Who's That Girl Tour was a success in eighteen cities across Asia, North America and Europe.
His soon-to-be father in law has the dopey lawyer Louden to give the pretty and no less self conscious Nikki Finn a ride from the prison to the bus station to ensure that she leaves town immediately. However Nikki has different plans: after being in prison many years for a murder she didn't commit, she wants to find out who really killed her friend Johnny. Unscrupulously she uses Louden for her objectives. Written by Tom Zoerner
