Walter F. Parkes (né Walter Fishman) is a film producer.

Graduated from Yale University.

Ranked #22 in Premiere's 2003 annual Power 100 List with wife and producing partner Laurie MacDonald. They had ranked #33 in 2002.

Went to the same High School as Angelina Jolie, Michael Klesic, Nicolas Cage, Corben Bernsen, Lenny Kravitz, David Schwimmer, Brekin Meyer, Jonathan Silverman, and Richard Dreyfuss.

Walter and his wife Laurie are production executives at DreamWorks Pictures, in addition to being producers. They wield so much power, a rival executive once told a reporter that if you wanted your film produced at DreamWorks, offer to add Walter and Laurie as producers. Parkes denies this claim.
