Tygh Runyan (born 13 June 1976) is a Canadian actor and musician.
Runyan was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. His father is a professor at UBC doing pioneering research in environmental science, and his mother is a poet. As a teen, Runyan studied at Emily Carr College of Art at the same time as he was getting into acting.
Runyan was nominated for a Vancouver Film Critics Circle Award for his work in Various Positions.
Runyan plays in the Vancouver experimental rock band, The Beans. Is friends with Scott Speedman, who he met while filming Kitchen Party. During an episode of The L Word, Tygh's band performed the song “All Suns”.
