"Try Again" by Aaliyah, was the First single released from the Romeo Must Die soundtrack and written for the motion picture of the same name. The single was released to radio while "I Don't Wanna" was still at radio, "Try Again" had peaked by the time "I Don't Wanna" was phased out. "Try Again" was successful in both the American charts and the international charts. It became the first song in history to ever reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100 based solely on the strength of its radio airplay, without any single sales factored. Eventually, there was a 12" vinyl record released. "Try Again" eventually became a world wide smash hit reaching the top 10 in over 9 countries.
The song was covered in 2003 by German metal band Knorkator for their album Ich hasse Musik, who turned the piece into a crushing orchestral industrial metal piece.
"Try Again" is a song performed and composed by English piano rock and alternative rock band Keane that appears as the tenth track on their second album, Under the Iron Sea. The song was released as the fifth single off the album, and currently is being only sold in Germany.blank">http://www.keaneshaped.co.uk/disco/try.htm This is also Keane's first single with three b-sides, all live performances in _Duisburg, Germany; however, the band have no record of having played recently there.
Trance act Blank & Jones remixed the single though their production has yet to be released. However, they have played their remix out during their live DJ sets and passed it onto other top name DJ/Producers as the likes of Armin van Buuren, who premiered on his radio show "A State of Trance."
