Travis Demsey was the drummer of Australian band The Living End from May 1996 until February 2002. After their original drummer was fired, Chris Cheney and Scott Owen, the two remaining members, recruited Travis in a Melbourne music store at which he worked. Throughout his time in The Living End he became famous for his massive bouts of energy. Travis played at the Homebake Festival in 2000 with a broken ankle. Trav left the band due to a growing dislike of heavy touring.

After the Living End, he formed a band called 'the Knockout Drops' with a few of his drinking friends. He currently plays drums for Melbourne Celt-punk band The Currency. Travis has also been a drum technician for many bands including Jet, and has worked at Mannies.
