Legend has it that the Mad Trapper stalks the woods of Narrow Lake seeking fresh skin for his pelts - and now six friends have stumbled upon his macabre game of hunt or be hunted that requires the lone survivor to return each and every year for another round. Images of his Uncle's murder have haunted Jay's dreams every night since he was eight years old. Alone in a cabin in the woods. Terrified. Again and again the images assault him. Convinced that facing the fear will set him free, Jay and five of his closest friends head for the very same cabin. They couldn't possibly know that the cabin serves as the hunting grounds for the Mad Trapper. Eager for an escape from the mundane, the teens relish their new surroundings - peace, tranquility - and a sensational beach. A beach that affords a certain watcher unlimited viewing opportunities. And watch he does. And wait. Their break from reality starts like a dream - but soon fades as one of them ventures out into the woods to relieve himself and doesn't come back. Their nightmare intensifies when they discover their missing friend skinned and hanging on the wall of a madman's shed. Hung out to dry like an animal. On display like a trophy. From then on the chase is on as the Trapper pits his advanced skills against their fear in a hideous game of cat and mouse. A game that sees the teens killed off in increasingly hideous manners until there are only two left. One that's responsible for their being there in the first place. And the other determined to survive no matter what the cost. Written by Wendy Whitbeck
