Tracy Morgan (born November 10 1968) is an American actor, perhaps best known as a member of the cast of Saturday Night Live from 1996 to 2003. Morgan currently stars as Tracy Jordan in Emmy Award Winning NBC sitcom 30 Rock.
The Tracy Morgan Show is a television sitcom-comedy that aired from December 2 2003 to March 20 2004 on NBC. The series starred Tracy Morgan and Tamala Jones. The show was cancelled in its first season after 18 episodes (two episodes were never aired). Tracy Morgan portrays "Tracy Mitchell", who is the owner of an auto repair garage. He has a wife named Alicia (Tamala Jones), a teenaged son named Derrick (Marc John Jefferies) and a seven year old named Jimmy (Bobb'e J. Thompson) as well as Aunt Pearl (Esther Scott)
Tracy's wife (Alicia), and youngest son (Jimmy) were named after Tracy Morgan (II)'s real-life parents.
Is an active stand-up comedian.
