Tracey E. Bregman (born May 29, 1963) is an Emmy Award-winning American soap opera actress. She was born in Munich, Germany to American producer Buddy Bregman and actress Suzanne Lloyd. She lived in Great Britain until the age of 10 when her family relocated to California. She has been acting since she was 11 years old. At one time, she was credited as Tracey E. Bregman-Recht.
She was the first actress to be awarded the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series (then known as the "Outstanding Ingenue in a Drama Series") when it was introduced in 1985.
Has two sons Austin Recht (b. 1991) and Landon Recht (b. 1996)
She is the daughter of Buddy Bregman and Suzanne Lloyd (I).
Even though she is not on contract at "The Young and the Restless", she is still featured prominently in many story lines, which is usually not the case for recurring characters.
Cousin of Bob Mackie
She added an 'e' to her name professionally in the early 1980s after an astrologist suggested it would help her with her career. A month later, she landed the role of Lauren on "Young and the Restless, The" (1973).
