Tony Beckley (born 7 October 1927 in Southampton, Hampshire, died 19 April 1980 in Los Angeles, California) was an English actor.
He is probably best known for his role as Camp Freddie in the film The Italian Job. Other film credits include: Get Carter, Gold, Revenge of the Pink Panther and When a Stranger Calls
He also appeared in television, perhaps most notably as the villainous Harrison Chase in the Doctor Who serial The Seeds of Doom. Other credits include The Saint, Z-Cars, Callan and Special Branch.
A graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, Beckley appeared in BBC-TV's "Romeo and Juliet" and later in "War and Peace" and "Julius Caesar." Prior to his death, he had appeared on stage with Maggie Smith in "Snap" and Elaine Strich in Tennesse Williams' "Small Craft Warnings." Veteran actor of over 1000 stage productions and television shows in England, Beckley played his last film as the killer in "When A Stranger Calls."
