The Visit is the story of Alex Waters (Hill Harper), a dying young man serving out a prison sentence for a rape he says he didn't commit. The movie follows Alex, his family, and his girlfriend as they try to come to an emotional resolution.
The Visit (1964) is a film co-production from France, Italy, Germany and the USA, distributed by 20th Century Fox. It was directed by Bernhard Wicki and produced by Darryl F. Zanuck and Julien Derode with Ingrid Bergman and Anthony Quinn as co-producers. The screenplay was by Ben Barzman, adapted by Maurice Valency from Friedrich Dürrenmatt's 1956 play Der Besuch der alten Dame (literally, The Visit of the Old Lady).
The film stars Ingrid Bergman and Anthony Quinn with Irina Demick, Paolo Stoppa, Hans Christian Blech, Romolo Valli, Valentina Cortese, Claude Dauphin, and Eduardo Ciannelli.

Frisco's mother walked out on his father when he was a young boy. She sailed to America chasing her dreams, met a man in New York and had another son called Dallas. Twenty yars later Frisco and his father Roy exist in a sate of impoverished batchelorhood in a South London council flat.
