The Super Cops is a 1974 film starring Ron Leibman and David Selby, directed by Gordon Parks. The film is based on the true story of two policemen known as "Batman and Robin" on the streets of New York City. The film was released the year after the more successful cop movie Serpico.

Dave and Rob, fresh from the Police Academy, enrage their captain because they want to do more than controlling the traffic. As penalty they are sent to Brooklyn. However they don't give up, but develop their own methods to fight against dealers, criminals and corrupt colleagues. Written by Tom Zoerner
