The Naked Truth (also known as "Your Past is Showing") is a 1957 British film comedy starring Peter Sellers, Terry-Thomas and Dennis Price, and produced and directed by Mario Zampi.
Written by Michael Pertwee, the film tells the story of Nigel Dennis (Price), publisher of a scandal-sheet, who runs a profitable sideline in blackmail. He attempts to squeeze money out of various characters, by threatening to expose their embarrassing secrets; however, some of his victims will not take such treatment lying down, and try to deal with the blackmailer.
Sellers plays TV celebrity Sonny MacGregor, who uses his "mastery of disguise" to great comic effect (his disguises are generally seen through by everyone he encounters). Terry-Thomas' Lord Mayley is an insurance fraudster who falls foul of Dennis. Peggy Mount, Shirley Eaton and Joan Sims also appear.
The Naked Truth was an American television sitcom that aired from 1995 to 1998, starred Téa Leoni and co-starred Holland Taylor. The show took place at the office of a tabloid news publication.
The series originally began on ABC, but was cancelled after a single season despite ranking in the top 30 (at #26 with 10.9 million households). The series was picked up from the second season by NBC. New cast members, as well as a general retooling of the show away from its tabloid settings, occupied its second incarnation. The second season ranked at #5 with 16.3 million households. It's third and final season did not break the top 30 and was cancelled permanently at the end of the season. The show still appears in syndication in some markets.
Other notable actors involved with the series include George Wendt, Mary Tyler Moore, George Segal, Chris Elliot, Amy Hill, Tim Curry, Betty White, and Tom Hanks.

Several of his victims first decide individually to kill him instead of paying, but fail in amusing ways. Then they find that to protect their various secrets they must now join forces for a rather different purpose... Written by Anonymous
