"That Girl" is the third single from the British pop band McFly. It was their first single not to reach the top spot in the UK singles chart, entering at number three.
"That Girl" is a 1982 soul single by American Motown singer-songwriter Stevie Wonder. The song was the leading single off Wonder's album-era greatest-hits compilation, Original Musiquarium, as one of three newer songs from the collection. The song reached #1 on the Billboard R&B singles chart and reached #4 pop. The song would later be sampled by rapper 2Pac on his song, "So Many Tears" and covered by R&B singer Joe. This song was also interpolated by Pharrell Williams on his debut album, In My Mind.
That Girl is the first single of Frankie J's album Priceless. It features Chamillionaire & Mannie Fresh. Also it is produced by Mannie Fresh. Slim Thug was supposed to be on the song, but Frankie J thought that having Chamillionaire would boost the song's commercial success, due to the fact that Chamillionaire was a more popular artist than Slim Thug at the time. Slim Thug's verses were omitted and Chamillionaire filled in the gaps. It debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 on August 17th, 2006 at number 100. Since then, the song has climbed to its current peak position of number 43.
That Girl is a 2006 single from Pharrell's album In My Mind released on 30th October. It features Snoop Dogg. This is Pharrell's 4th video off of In My Mind. The music video features Lauren London as Pharrell's love affair.
"That Girl" is the debut single from R&B singer Marques Houston and the first taken from his debut album, MH in the U.S.. In the UK, however, "Clubbin'" was the first single from the album there.
"That Girl" was originally for Ne-Yo, but columbia records droped him, and was givien to Houston. The song was his first Billboard Hot 100 hit single, peaking at number sixty-three in the U.S .
The single was due to be the fourth single from MH in the UK, however, due to the underperformance of the third single there, "Because of You", the single was cancelled, despite the video being serviced to television music channels there.
