Super Star is S.H.E's 5th album. It was released on August 22, 2003. Ella suffered a back-injury one month before the album was released during the shooting of a television show. Because of that, Ella is not present in some of the music videos. As of 2006, the single "Super Star" from this album has been S.H.E's biggest hit. It is a common misconception that S.H.E's 2003 hit "Super Star" is a cover song. German producer Roberto "Geo" Rosan composed "Super Star" for S.H.E. After it became popular, Geo had the lyrics rewritten for his Euroband, Sweetbox, as the song "Chyna Girl". In 2005, Canadian singer Skye Sweetnam re-recorded "Super Star" as "Superstar".
