"Sorry" is a pop-dance song written and produced by Madonna and Stuart Price for Madonna's tenth album Confessions on a Dance Floor (2005). It was released as the album's second single in early 2006 and reached number one in Greece, Italy, Spain, Norway and the United Kingdom. It reached the top ten in Australia, France, Germany, The Netherlands and Ireland. In the United States "Sorry" was a success on the Billboard dance charts, where it reached the top position on the Hot Dance Airplay chart and the Dance Club chart. It was Madonna's first single not to enter the Canadian Singles Chart (due to very limited availability) and peaked at number fifty-three. "Sorry" was performed on her 2006 Confessions Tour.
The Bic Runga "Sorry" single was released as a single only in Australia and Germany; the Australian version of the single included music videos of the songs "Sway" and "Suddenly Strange".
"Sorry" is a single by the band Madness, released in March 2007 and written by Mike Barson, the band's keyboard player and prominent songwriter. The release includes a version of the track which features UK rap artists Sway DaSafo and Baby Blue.
The band brought it out via their own label, Lucky Seven Records and it entered the UK chart at #23 on Sunday 11th March, their highest UK chart single entry since 1999's "Lovestruck".
The single also went to no.3 on the UK Independent Label Chart.
