Silvercup Studios is the largest film and television production facility in New York City. Located in the neighborhood of Long Island City, in the borough of Queens, the studio complex has been operating since 1983 in the former Silvercup Bakery building. It is owned by brothers Alan and Stuart Suna.
Currently, the studio is the filming location for NBC's 30 Rockdisplay.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003118275" target="_blank">http://www.backstage.com/bso/rossreports/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003118275 and the CW's Gossip Girl. The building also serves as a location for many magazine photo shoots and music video productions. The Fall 2007 _American Express television commercial starring Tina Fey features shots of the outside and inside of the studio. The studio can be seen from the New York City Subway's Queens-bound 7 Train just before the Queensboro Plaza stop.
