Shock Waves, also known as Almost Human and Death Corps, is a horror movie from 1977 directed by Ken Wiederhorn. It features Peter Cushing as a Nazi commander who has created a group of SS men with gills, who can live, as zombies, underwater. The film also stars John Carradine and Brooke Adams in her first film. With its chilling scenes of Nazi zombies rising out of the sea, Shock Waves has become an underground "classic" horror movie. Director Ken Wiederhorn's additional horror credits include Eyes Of A Stranger (Warner Bros. 1983); Return Of The Living Dead, Part II (Lorimar 1988); and A House In The Hills (Live Ent. 1993; more accurately described as a suspense thriller).
This horror movie concerns a shipwrecked yachting party. Rose (Brooke Adams) and her fellow yacht-mates, including the captain (John Carradine) run aground on an island when they hit an odd-looking freighter. Once beached, they meet up with an aging SS Commander (Peter Cushing) who had been in charge of a crew of zombies. Written by Ørnås
