Detective Shane Vendrell is a fictional character on the FX Networks police drama television series The Shield. He is portrayed by actor Walton Goggins.

Shane is a Farmington detective who has been heavily involved in the dealings of Vic Mackey's Strike Team, since its formation. His racist, reckless attitude often got him in trouble, after which Vic typically bailed him out. He has a wife, Mara, as well as a young son, Jackson.
