The photo shoots for Madonna (I)'s book "Sex" were also filmed on Super 8 by fashion photographer Fabian Baron. Many of the photos in the book were film frames taken from this footage. Madonna and Baron compiled an hour of the footage for this film. It premiered during the release party for the book. Madonna also had 100 copies of the film made to give to her closest friends. She and Baron also used some of the footage for the video for her song "Erotica". Reportedly, Warner Brothers considered releasing this film along with the book but the idea was scrapped. At some point in the mid-1990s this film leaked out and has been sold as a bootleg.
