A German version (Sieben Jahre Glück (1942)) was shot simultaneously in Cinecittà. The cast is identical in both versions except for Vivi Gioi in the role of Ella Jüttner played by Hannelore Schroth in the German version.

Carlo Romano, one of the most prestigious voice-dubbers of the period, dubbed Theo Lingen in the film. As he also appears in the movie himself, Romano is in turn dubbed by Luigi Pavese.
