Scott Patterson (1969 - January 25, 2004) was a Canadian professional curler, from North Bay, Ontario, Canada.
Patterson was the only man to skip two North Bay rinks to the Brier - 1994 and '99. He also went was a member of the 1993 Northern Ontario mixed team. Also, while attending University in Sudbury, at Laurentian University, he won the Ontario Universities' Championship. Scott Patterson was a long time member of the North Bay Granite Club.
Patterson was injured in a vehicle accident on January 23, 2004 while riding with Greg Cantin, John McClelland and Gerry Cantin, while on their way to attend the Northern Ontario Curling Association's challenge round. While the other passengers survived, Patterson died in Sudbury, Ontario at St. Joseph's Health Care Centre at 10:30 AM Eastern Standard Time.

Scott Robert Patterson (born June 20 1979 in Oakdale, Pennsylvania) is a right-handed pitcher for the New York Yankees organization.
Patterson was signed by the Yankees as a free agent on November 16, , after spending most of the previous two seasons with their minor league AA affiliate, the Trenton Thunder. Prior to spending time in the Yankees organization, he was in the Atlantic League, an independent baseball league.
(1977) Attended Rutgers University to study for a degree in comparative literature but dropped out to play baseball for community colleges in Florida and Arizona. (1980) Drafted into the minor baseball leagues and played with The New York Yankees, The Atlanta Braves and The Texas Rangers for eight years before being dropped. Studied acting in New York with renowned acting coaches Robert Lewis and Sondra Lee.
Dropped out of Rutgers University.
Played minor league baseball (New York Yankees, Atlanta Braves, and Texas Rangers) from 1980-88. After becoming an actor, he played a major league pitcher in Little Big League (1994).
He is the third tallest male lead on the TV series "Gilmore Girls", standing about 3 or 4 inches shorter than Jared Padalecki and 5 inches shorter than Edward Herrmann.
Prior to Gilmore Girls, both he and star Lauren Graham (I) made guest appearances on Seinfeld (but not in the same episode).
He loves to ski.
