"Street Life" is the opening track on Roxy Music's November 1973 album Stranded, the first Roxy Music album without Brian Eno. It was released as a single in the UK and reached number 9 on the chart. All the previous singles from Roxy Music (Virginia Plain and Pyjamarama) had not been included on their albums, so this was the first Roxy Music single to be present on an album.
In 2001, in the Roxy Reunion Tour, this was the second song to be played; "Re-Make/Re-Model" was first.
