Ross Elliott (born 18 June 1917, Bronx, New York; died 12 August 1999, Los Angeles) was an American television and film character actor. He began his acting career with Orson Welles in Mercury Theatre, where he performed in Welles' famed radio program "The War of the Worlds".

Throughout his career, he appeared in over 100 television shows, including The Lone Ranger, Dragnet, Lassie, Leave it to Beaver, and I Love Lucy. He may be best remembered, however, as playing the director in the classic "Vitameatavegamin" episode of I Love Lucy.

Elliott began his acting career with Orson Welles' Mercury Theater, where he performed in Welles' famed radio program "War of the Worlds".
