Roger R. Cross (born October 19, 1966) is a Canadian contemporary actor who has made numerous appearances in several movies and TV series, mostly on productions shot in Canada.
Roger Cross (born October 20 1948 in East Ham, London) is an English former footballer who played as a forward. He is now chief scout at West Ham United.
Cross' association with West Ham began with his signing as an apprentice in July 1964. He was the reserve team top scorer in two consecutive seasons, but he failed to establish himself in the Hammers first team, and was loaned to Leyton Orient at one point.
In 1969, after 8 appearances and a single goal, he moved to Brentford for £12,000.
Cross went on to play for Fulham, who signed him for £30,000, and he scored ten goals in 46 league and cup appearances for the West London club. He had a second spell at Griffin Park, and took his Bee's tally to 228 appearances and 79 goals. He then joined Millwall for £8,000.
In 1977, Cross moved to the United States to play for the Seattle Sounders of the North American Soccer League.
In 1979, he became youth team manager at Millwall. After a period on the coaching staff at Queens Park Rangers, he moved to Spurs, where he later became assistant manager to Gerry Francis. He rejoined West Ham as reserve team coach in the summer of 2001.
He was born in Jamaica and he lived there for the first 11 years of his life. He then moved to Vancouver B.C., Canada, with his mother, father, two sisters and two brothers. He graduated with a degree in Aviation and General Studies from Trinity Western University in Langley, B.C. He also took drama in school but in 1990 whilst waiting for a flying job he took extra work as a stunt man. After that he began studying acting at Breck Academy. The first film he was cast in was "The International Rescue" which filmed in China, Vietnam and Burma.
Appears as a Secret Service agent in X2 (2003). Other "24" (2001) cast members who have played Secret Service agents include Kiefer Sutherland in Sentinel, The (2006); Jude Ciccolella in Head of State (2003); Xander Berkeley, Timothy Carhart, and Glenn Morshower in Air Force One (1997), and 'Michael ONeill (I) in several episodes of "West Wing, The" (1999).
Has one son.
Longtime companion is German actress Josephine Jacob.
