Roberto Gaston Orci (born 1974 in Mexico City, Mexico) is a Mexican film and television producer and screenwriter. He was raised in Canada, Texas, and Los Angeles where he met his longtime friend and collaborator Alex Kurtzman. He attended The University of Texas at Austin. He is the older brother of J. R. Orci.
The Hollywood Reporter listed him as one of the 50 most powerful Latinos in Hollywood of 2007.

Born in Mexico City, Mexico, from Mexican father and Cuban mother. His family left Mexico for Texas when he was 10 years old. Finally, they settled in Los Angeles, where he met his associate, Alex Kurtzman (II).
